Lunch and Learn: Non-Functional Requirements in a Highly Available World

Chapter Lunch Event

LaKeela Davis, Associate Enterprise Architect

Designing and implementing a solution without NFRs (Non-functional requirements) is akin to building a house with no owner approved floorplan. Everyone on the construction team ends up building the foundation with no guidance; which results in a foundation that does not fit the structure intended to be built upon it.

Join us as LaKeela discusses how to assign NFRs to a technical solution to ensure it is designed correctly the first time.

Non-Functional Requirements, or NFRs, establish the technical design of the solution and ensure that the required technical components and system integrations are incorporated for optimal performance, manageability, modifications, and disaster recovery, as well as perform the functional requirements.
