Jay Ress of Outset Group will present a short overview of the new IIBA exams and certifications and then will lead a panel discussion of members who have experience of taking the test recently.

Bio: 

Jay Ress is the founder and Managing Principal of The Outset Group, a Nashville-based consulting and training firm. Jay is known in Nashville and national circles as a thought leader, consultant, project manager, and entrepreneur. As a consultant, he has contributed to the success of Nashville’s top corporations, universities, and government agencies. He has also built a reputation for leading mission-critical technology and business projects to success.
Jay’s love of teaching and desire to contribute to the professional community has also resulted in The Outset Group becoming a valued training resource. Under his direction, The Outset Group has become an IIBA Endorsed Education Provider, a PMI Registered Education Provider (Global), a GSA-approved training vendor to the U.S. government, and a strategic partner with SolutionsIQ, the nation’s largest pure-play agile service provider.
Jay has lived in Nashville for twenty years. He is a past Fulbright-Hays research fellow in the field of rural health care, and is a black belt in the martial art of aikido. He is raising two wonderful children, and serves as a Little League coach and youth martial arts instructor.
